in my work, i strive to be as sustainable as possible, including packaging and materials. for custom pieces, the majority of thread is purchased new to ensure consistency in colour and quantity needed to be able to create a lasting piece, however i strive to use a high count of second-hand items including fabrics, frames, tools, storage and packaging materials where possible.
